I went to Lush last week and bought a few bits and bobs, I did have to restrain myself thought (well actually Matt had to drag me out the shop before I bought anything else, haha!)
Money seems to have a way of burning a hole in my pocket, I always have a way of spending it! sadly this has effected my now non existent car fund (oops!)
I have wanted to try something a bit different to the usual products on offer in Lush so I tried the Gorilla vanillary perfume, yeah I know what a weird name! But with all seriousness this product is AMAZING, obviously smells of vanilla but its main qualities are that it makes you feel clean and fresh but at the same time lasts for ages and does not have that overpowering smell.
Then I bought the popcorn lip scrub which is a really effective product, you simply use you finger to rub the lip scrub in which softens your lips after you can lick off any excess but for me the popcorn one had a horrible taste so let it down. There is a bubblegum version which tastes great, so it is really down to own preference. I find that because this product is so compact it is great for going out when you can quiet literally apply and go!
In the shop I asked one of the lovely shop assistance (sadly I can't remember her name) if she could recommend a product for dry lips as sadly I am prone to very dry lips especially in the winter months :( , but to my delight she recommended a great lip balm, a product which had done wonders for my lips it is called 'Ultrabalm, all purpose balm' which really does do what it says on the tin; restores, soothes, protects, relieves and moisturises.
The last item I bought was a colour supplement which is effectively a light coverage foundation which can be used with a moisturiser. I bought this product in 'light yellow' which is great for fairer skin tones, but there are many in the collection if you have a lighter or darker complexion and is the closest if not perfect colour for my skin tone at such a cheap price of £9.25 a pot (compared to my usual Nars foundation in 'Mont blonc' which costs £31 which is quiet a lot for a foundation)
